I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER INTERVIEWS: Madison Iseman, Brianne Tju, Ezekiel Goodman, Ashley Moore, and Sebastian Amoruso

2021 has been the year of great comebacks and remakes and when you hear the title “I Know What You did last Summer” you instantly say to yourself “ are we getting a new movie?” The answer is absolutely not! What you are getting is a brand new twist on the classic book and movie, a series with episodes and a new plot written and directed by Sara Goodman.

The newest version centers around a group of teenagers who causes an accident leading to someones death and them all paying for it. But this version offers something completely different. You get a different plot twist , new story lines and a new story with a touch of nostalgia from the OG movie.

I had the opportunity to sit down with the cast of the new show ( Madison Iseman, Brianne Tju, Ashley Moore, Ezekiel Goodman, Sebastian Amoruso) and director Sara Goodman and chatted about updating a classic story and what that looks like for the audience. Sara talked about working with producers Erik Feig and Neal H. Moritz on the new show and how amazing it was because Micheal and Neal worked as producers on the 1997 movie and the 1998 sequel.

As a fan of the original movies I can say the show really surprised me in a good way ! I loved everything about it! I loved how updated it was and with the times via 2021, I loved the storyline and the twist from the original. I felt like I was watching a continuation of the story instead of a copy or remake and I think the audience will agree and fall in love with the characters like I did.
