India Love Responds to Twerking on DDG Backlash: “They Hated Jesus Too”

The chlorine was bubbling, the waistlines were moving, and the girls were not behaving. Kai Cenat’s AMP pool party was supposed to be just a little internet content cookout, until India Love pulled up in full goddess mode and threw it all the way back on rapper DDG, igniting yet another scandal in her endlessly memeable, chronically sexualized, and deeply misunderstood public life.

But this time, India isn’t letting the noise shake her. In fact, she’s tossing the backlash into the digital trash where it belongs.

India Love didn’t just dance. She bodied the moment. In a viral clip, captured by fan-favorite internet sleuth FearBuck, the model-turned-internet-icon is seen dropping it low with a friend while DDG stands behind her, visibly shook in a way that only a man receiving unsolicited excellence in bikini form can be.

Naturally, the internet’s moral police got to work. Comment sections were in shambles. Messy blog pages went wild. And the public’s favorite pastime, manufactured moral outrage, was back in season.

But Miss Love? Unbothered. Unshaken. Uncloaked.

“They Hated Jesus. They Gonna Hate Me Too.”

India didn’t just brush off the backlash. She torched it.

“I’m all over the internet getting bashed every day,” she said with the calm clarity of a woman who’s heard it all before and decided not to give a single damn. “If I see negative comments, I just literally, like, go to the next thing. I don’t let it shake me up, not none. Because they hated Jesus, for one.”

Yes, she really invoked the son of God. And if you think that’s dramatic, you’re clearly new here.

She continued. “They gonna hate whether I do great. If I did all the best shit in the world, y’all would still find something to say. So I just, you know, continue to do me, because that’s how I know I’m successful.”

Translation. Hate all you want, she’s still winning, and you’re still refreshing her IG Story from your twin bed in your mama’s house.

Gigi Said What She Said

India also made a point to shout out her friend Gigi, who dropped some gold-dipped truth bombs during a private conversation about the swirling backlash.

“We were talking about all the clips and shit,” India said, “and she was just like… if any one of them people commenting anything negative could trade lives with you at any moment, they would.”

And listen. She’s not wrong. The same trolls writing paragraphs under blog posts would risk it all to live one day in India’s Dior slides.

“But I wouldn’t want to trade lives with them,” she snapped, “but I know for a fact they would want to trade lives with me. Whether they’re hating or just fake hating, if they had any opportunity, they would. And I believe that.”

Mic dropped. Ass thrown. Internet gagged.

DDG, Duke Dennis, and That Damn Drake

To add lighter fluid to this already overcooked drama, let’s recap the mess.

India Love and DDG have been linked before, but things have gotten messier than a lace-front in a sauna. The poolside booty bounce came shortly after India was seen hanging with Duke Dennis, sparking romantic rumors that had stan pages foaming at the mouth.

But it gets juicier.

Drake himself, yes, Mr. 6 God, gave a suspiciously glowing speech about India at Streamer University. And while some took it as just Drake being Drake, flirtatious and mysterious, others raised their eyebrows sky-high, considering Drizzy and India were rumored to have dated all the way back in 2016.

Drake might just be the patron saint of cryptic situationships. But his praise only added fuel to a fire that India clearly isn’t trying to put out. If anything, she’s dancing around it. Literally.

Can A Baddie Just Dance?

Here’s the real tea. India Love twerking at a pool party isn’t world-ending. It’s not a morality crisis. It’s not a confirmation of a relationship. It’s not even a big deal.

It’s a girl. In a swimsuit. Dancing.

If a man’s jaw drops, that’s his business. If the internet spirals into chaos, that’s our business. But India’s not in the mood to explain herself. And honestly, she shouldn’t have to.

“I feel like the internet hate is fake,” she said, with the kind of confidence that only comes from surviving years of public scrutiny while still looking like she bathes in unicorn blood.

She’s right. It is fake. Most of these commenters would crawl across hot asphalt to live a day in her shoes, or even be in the background of one of her TikToks.

So why should she care?

India Love Is Still That Girl

The pool party is over. The water’s still. The backlash is bubbling on borrowed time. And India Love? She’s somewhere moisturizing her thighs with baby oil and ignoring y’all in real time.

And let’s be very clear. Whether it’s DDG, Duke Dennis, or Drake, this woman is not defined by the men around her. She’s defined by the headlines she dominates, the girls she inspires, and the endless, inexplicable rage she triggers just by existing confidently in her skin.

She didn’t come to explain herself. She came to dance. And if that bothers you, maybe ask yourself why a beautiful Black woman having a good time at a party makes you clutch your pearls like someone slapped your grandma.

Haters might talk, but they would switch lives with her in a heartbeat.

And that’s the realest thing anyone said all week.
