Rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z has publicly denied allegations made in a recent lawsuit accusing him of raping a 13-year-old girl. In a strongly worded statement, Jay-Z characterized the claims as “heinous” and described the lawsuit as a blackmail attempt orchestrated by Texas-based attorney Tony Buzbee.

Jay-Z’s statement reads:

“My lawyer received a blackmail attempt, called a demand letter, from a ‘lawyer’ named Tony Buzbee. What he had calculated was the nature of these allegations and the public scrutiny would make me want to settle. No sir, it had the opposite effect! It made me want to expose you for the fraud you are in a VERY public fashion. So no, I will not give you ONE RED PENNY!”

The rapper emphasized that the allegations were baseless and challenged Buzbee to file criminal charges if there were any validity to the claims. He also accused Buzbee of exploiting serious issues for personal gain and referred to him as an “ambulance chaser in a cheap suit.”

Jay-Z expressed heartbreak over the impact the allegations would have on his family, particularly his children. “My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims,” he stated. “It is unfair to have to try to understand inexplicable degrees of malice meant to destroy families and human spirit.”

Jay-Z further declared that he would not be intimidated or coerced into a settlement. “You have made a terrible error in judgment thinking that all ‘celebrities’ are the same. I’m not from your world,” he concluded.

Tony Buzbee, the attorney representing the plaintiff in the lawsuit, responded on Instagram, alleging a campaign of harassment against him and his family. In his post, Buzbee shared a photograph of himself from his time as a Marine and stated:

“Despite a coordinated and aggressive effort that has included harassing my kids, contacting my clients and former clients to encourage them to sue me, contacting my colleagues or former employees asking if I’ve ‘abused’ them, showing up at my current employees’ homes to harass them, filing frivolous cases against me and my law firm, defaming me with outrageous assertions to anyone who will listen, and having mysterious people follow me and my family, I’m still THAT guy. I won’t be bullied or intimidated.”

Buzbee reaffirmed his commitment to his client and stated that “sunlight is the best disinfectant” in uncovering the truth.

The case has already garnered significant media attention due to the high-profile nature of the individuals involved. No criminal charges have been filed as of this report, and the lawsuit remains in its early stages.

Both Jay-Z and Tony Buzbee appear poised to escalate the matter in the public eye, with Jay-Z determined to fight the allegations and Buzbee standing firm on his client’s claims.
