According to a press release from Live Nation, Jay Z’s North American run of his 4:44 Tour grossed $44,698,354 over the course of 32 dates. 426,441 tickets were sold in that span, with about $1,396,823 grossed per show.

Despite several show cancellations and reports of low ticket sales, Jay Z’s 4:44 Tour was expected to rack in a considerable amount of money. In fact, according to Billboard, the tour became Jay’s highest-grossing solo tour just three dates in, setting high expectations for the rest of the 32-date run.

“This tour will be the biggest headlining tour of Jay’s career,” Live Nation’s Omar Al-Joulani told the publication in early November.

So, now that Jay is no longer on the road, many people are wondering just how much money his shows brought in. Though we don’t have an official figure, a recent report by Pollstar reveals the tour had grossed more than $24 million ahead of the final stop in Los Angeles on Dec. 21.

“With $24.3 million grossed on the headline shows reported (an average of $1.43 million gross per night) and data from 17 headline gigs outstanding, more reporting would almost surely put Jay Z into the Top 50 of Pollstar’s Year End Worldwide Tours chart,” Pollstar reported.

The trade publication went on to break down the numbers of individual shows, including the Nov. 26-27 Brooklyn dates (grossed $4.4 million combined); the Nov. 12 Miami concert ($1.7 million); and the sold out Dec. 2 stop in New York ($1.31 million).

Out of the reported dates, the average number of tickets sold was 13,721 per night, with an average price of $104 per ticket.

Though we’re still waiting for the final numbers to come in, it looks like Jay and Live Nation will walk away with a decent profit.
