Netflix has unveiled the trailer for Office Romance, an upcoming romantic comedy starring and co-written by Brett Goldstein alongside Jennifer Lopez. The movie will arrive on Netflix on June 5th.
According to Netflix, Office Romance is “a raunchy romantic comedy about a secret office romance and the trouble two workaholics get in when they start thinking with their hearts.”
In the movie, Lopez plays a powerful executive at an airline company. Her reputation as being harsh is echoed throughout the trailer by nervous employees of both her and Goldstein’s character, who have just started working at the company as lawyers. The couple falls in love and attempts to hide their romance. “If we get caught, it could destroy everything I’ve built,” Lopez says of getting caught.
Goldstein is also known for his role in Ted Lasso. He co-wrote the screenplay.
Supporting the two actors are Betty Gilpin, Bradley Whitford, Tony Hale, and Amy Sedaris. Edward James Olmos returns to play Lopez’s father, a character he played in Selena. Jodie Whittaker makes a brief cameo appearance as the jailed sister of Goldstein’s character.
Office Romance hits Netflix on Friday, June 5th.
