John Shea Accused Of Racial Harassment and Assault

Over the weekend in Barnstable, Massachusetts, John Shea, the owner of Trader Ed’s was caught on video hurling a racial slur and threatening an African American man.

Millyan Phillips, the man in the video with John Shea, told NewsCenter 5 that he called the cops on Shea last week after he and his friends witnessed Shea clearly drunk and driving.

Phillips claims Shea told him he didn’t “belong here” and threatened him with a shotgun after the cops were called.

“Do you fking know who I am? Get the fck out of my town. Get the f*ck out of my town! You use my name again, you’ll end up in a grave. You use my name again, you’ll end up in a grave,” Shea states in the video.

Shea can also be heard using the N-word while speaking with Phillips, revealing that he used the racial slur because Phillips acted “like one.”

Phillips also accused Shea of assaulting him physically, claiming that John had stepped on his foot. The incident, which was captured on camera, has received a lot of attention on social media, with people criticizing Shea for his actions.

At the moment, John Shea has not responded to any of the allegations. Shea, on the other hand, reportedly hired an attorney to handle the situation while the Barnstable Police Department investigates.
