Joy Taylor Says She Needs Sex Every Day and Refuses to Date Anyone Under 25

Joy Taylor is leaning into her truth with the kind of raw, unapologetic energy that has long defined her career. But while the Fox Sports 1 host is no stranger to stirring the pot, her recent confessions about her sex drive, romantic preferences, and views on religion come at a particularly explosive moment.

Just months after being named in a bombshell lawsuit that has rocked the network, Taylor is making headlines again and this time, it’s personal.

The 38-year-old broadcaster, who has built her reputation on sharp analysis and sharper tongues, is now commanding attention for a different kind of commentary: her own life.

Podcast Reboot Without Taylor Rooks Reveals Joy’s Sky-High Sex Drive and Unfiltered Honesty

Taylor recently reintroduced fans to her podcast Two Personal, this time without former co-host Taylor Rooks. While the split was never officially addressed, the new iteration of the show is a noticeably more intimate and raw space. It didn’t take long for Taylor to stir controversy, starting with a jaw-dropping admission about her sex life.

In an episode featuring celebrity life coach Dr. Cheyenne Bryant, the conversation veered into libido territory, with Bryant revealing hers was “through the roof.” Taylor didn’t miss a beat.

“Every year I get older, I’m like, ‘What am I gonna do?'” she said. “I have to have sex every day, and I can’t—I’m not. It didn’t used to be this way…”

The confession immediately lit up social media. Some praised her transparency, while others clutched their pearls. Taylor, as always, remained unfazed.

Taylor Declares She Won’t Date Anyone Under 25 and Refuses to Apologize for Her Standards

If you thought Taylor was done oversharing, think again. During a guest appearance on The Truth After Dark with Paul Pierce and Azar Farideh, the sports commentator doubled down on her unfiltered energy. When asked about age limits in her dating life, Taylor didn’t hesitate.

“I say this tenderly because I am 38 f***ing years old,” she said with a smirk. “Age limit? I would say right now, at my age right now, I would not date younger than 25, 26.”

Cue a shocked laugh from Paul Pierce.

“Why is that funny?” Taylor fired back. “I’m not going to get up here and lie. Young men are very aggressive and do not care how old I am. 25 is a grown man! 25 is a grown ass man! 25 is a grown man; you’re not about to have me on some bulls***.”

And just when you thought she was finished, she added another layer to her list of romantic non-negotiables.

“I am less and less interested in a religious man if I am being honest with you,” Taylor said. “I’ve had some negative experiences with people that lead with their religion.”

The line, delivered with complete confidence, made it clear that Taylor has no time for performances on the field or in the pew.

Bombshell Lawsuit Accuses Taylor of Sexual Favoritism, Career Climbing, and Covering Up Harassment

While Taylor enjoys full creative control over her narrative these days, she is also facing serious accusations behind the scenes. In January, she was named in a scathing lawsuit filed by Noushin Faraji, a former Fox employee and hairstylist. Faraji alleges years of sexual harassment and workplace misconduct at the network.

The suit names Taylor, ex-NFL player and Speak co-host Emmanuel Acho, former FS1 host Skip Bayless, network executive Charlie Dixon, and Fox Corporation. The claims span from 2012 through August 2024 and include allegations of sexual harassment, battery, retaliation, and negligent supervision.

Among the most scandalous claims, Taylor is accused of leveraging sexual relationships with both Dixon and Acho to advance her career, including securing her spot on Speak. She is also accused of dismissing Faraji’s complaints about sexual misconduct by Bayless and Dixon, allegedly telling her to “get over it.”

Bayless is accused of offering Faraji $1.5 million for sex. Dixon is accused of groping her.

Taylor’s camp hit back hard. A spokesperson for the FS1 host told The Athletic earlier this year, “The claims set forth against Ms. Taylor are devoid of merit and appear to have been strategically framed to create unwarranted publicity rather than to seek legitimate redress. Ms. Taylor denies each and every allegation against her as set forth in Plaintiff’s Complaint to the extent they allege any wrongdoing, liability, or entitlement to relief.”

Unapologetic and Unbothered: Taylor Owns Her Narrative While the Lawsuit Unfolds

If Taylor’s recent media tour is any indication, she’s not running from the controversy; she’s running right through it. Her brutally honest takes on sex, dating, and religion signal a woman in total control of her voice, even as she navigates one of the most high-stakes chapters of her career.

It’s the kind of energy that terrifies traditionalists and thrills her fans. Equal parts media professional and modern woman, with just enough edge to make the boys squirm.

Whatever you think of Joy Taylor, one thing is undeniable: she is not asking for permission. She never has. And now, more than ever, she knows exactly who she is.
