Kayla Nicole is entering the reality dating world, at least in a lighthearted way, after ABC decided to put the latest season of The Bachelorette on the back burner.
Nicole, who was in a relationship with Travis Kelce from 2017 to 2022, uploaded a TikTok video on Wednesday that parodied her audition tape for the long-running dating program. The social media personality and “Pregame” podcast host wrote in the caption of the video, “My audition to be the next Bachelorette,” as she lip-synced to the video.
The social media personality wrote in her post, “Hey @ABC, heard you need a stand in?” She also included a red rose and a crying-laughing face in her post.

In her video, the social media personality leans into one of the more common moments in the reality dating world, reciting a list of accomplishments in the style of a Bachelorette contestant. Even though the social media personality is lighthearted in her video, she has not been in a public relationship since her split from Kelce.
She has also dabbled in reality TV, winning Season 3 of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test last February alongside Brody Jenner after undergoing the show’s final selection process.
The news comes at a time when Disney, ABC’s parent company, decided to cancel a season of The Bachelorette featuring Taylor Frankie Paul, which was slated to premiere on March 22 this year.
The decision to cancel comes after TMZ released a video last year showing Taylor Frankie Paul throwing furniture at her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, in front of her 8-year-old daughter. Taylor and Mortensen, stars of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, are currently being investigated for domestic violence in Utah.
Meanwhile, Taylor Swift is now dating Kelce. The three-time Super Bowl winner has recently signed a three-year, $57.7 million contract extension with the Kansas City Chiefs after weighing retirement this year.
Kelce and Swift started dating in 2023 and went public in October. The couple announced their engagement last August and are reportedly planning to get married this summer.
