Keiajah Brooks, the woman whom got famous for chewing out the Kansas City Board of Police Commissioners over police brutality, claims she’s a victim of police intimidation.

Brooks posted a series of photos and videos on Instagram explaining some of the alleged police intimidation that has been happening to her.

Brook Instagram caption:

“i stopped posting abt police harassment cause this shit really does come with the territory & i hate my life being open to the opinions of folks who are not in my shoes!!! but now it’s pissing me tf off so just so we clear for when they try to bust down my door over some bullshit this is exactly what has happened since moving back here.”

The young activist really goes into detail and starts to list the dates of the police allegedly intimidating her.

3/17- they pulled me over and falsified records to say my car had no insurance or registration and then towed it.

5/6- i went to court and judge claire williams validated i had both at the time they took my car. instead of an apology, this bitch had me handcuffed & detained. she let me out after she did a quick lol google search.

  • forgot the date but i had been cop watching for a black couple and a cop i call Norman Bates (first pic) was mad as shit.

5/17- Norman Bates pulled up to my house the morning of our Palestine protest saying the alarm was going off at the clubhouse and they thought the landlord lived where i do. (second pic)

5/31 (tonight) – i pull up to my crib and an SPD and chatham county car are literally just perched outside of my house. i started recording and they drove away.

Brooks continues on by listing some of the work she has been doing lately. She talks about bailing out a black man for alleged marijuana, giving back to black youth, organizing protest, and holding Paula Wallace accountable about gentrification.

i’m really not tripping bc it is what it is. the work continues and in the few short months i’ve lived here my org @912liberationcrew has:

  • bailed a black man out of chatham county jail for $1800 for alleged marijuana.
  • dispersed over $3,500 in cash to black youth, members of the house less community, and black folks in need.
  • organized 3 successful direct actions— with our Free Palestine/ BLM protest being the FIRST direct action here in years. (last year’s shit was escorted by the cops.)
  • held Paula Wallace and SCAD accountable for gentrifying historically black and poor areas.

The young activist caption finishes off by telling supporters where and how they can support the 912 Liberation Crew.

“so i’m just here documenting but this work is real and WILL continue whether they think they can punk me or not.”

“if you’d like to support our cash app is $912liberationcrew and our gofundme link is in my bio”

“if you’re in savannah and wanna tap into the work, dm us @912liberationcrew.”

Brooks was arrested last night around 12AM EST in Savannah, Georgia without having Miranda rights recited to her for “inciting a riot,” according to other protestors that was with her on the scene. She was peacefully protesting outside the Mayor’s house with a group of about eight people.
