Kendrick Lamar Crowned Most-Streamed Rapper of December on Spotify with 1.18 Billion Streams

Kendrick Lamar has once again solidified his status as a hip-hop titan, becoming the most-streamed rapper on Spotify for December with a staggering 1.18 billion streams.

The Compton-born artist also claimed the title for the most-streamed album of the month with his latest project, GNX, which has taken the music world by storm.

Lamar’s remarkable feat saw him edge out frequent chart rival Drake, who secured the second spot with 1.11 billion streams. Travis Scott rounded out the top three with 879 million streams, following a successful year powered by his album Utopia.

Other hip-hop heavyweights on the list include Kanye West (805 million), Juice WRLD (758 million), and Future (723 million), showcasing the genre’s enduring dominance on the streaming platform. Eminem, Tyler, The Creator, and Don Toliver also made impressive showings in December’s rankings.
