Kylie Jenner is facing another lawsuit in just two weeks. This time, the plaintiff is her former maid, Juana Delgado Soto. Filed on Wednesday, the complaint charges Jenner and several entities related to her with racial discrimination, harassment, nonpayment of wages, and retaliation, among others.
Besides Jenner, Soto’s case includes Kylie Jenner Inc., staff supervisor Itzel Sibrian, Tri Star Services, and La Maison Family Services. According to the lawyer representing Soto, Della Shaker, another complainant, Angelica Hernandez Vasquez, filed a lawsuit in a similar fashion twelve days ago. Vasquez is represented by the same attorney as Soto.
Juana Soto started working for Jenner in May 2019. As per the complaint, until the last couple of years of her employment, she never received meal and rest breaks, despite the California Labor Code requiring them for all non-exempt workers, regardless of employment type.
According to the complaint, things took a bad turn in late 2023 when Soto got a new boss, Itzel Sibrian. In 2024, Soto filed an HR complaint after Sibrian insulted her accent, ridiculed her for her immigration status and race, and called her stupid. For this reason, Sibrian was demoted temporarily from supervising her but eventually got the role back.
Soto claims retaliation from Sibrian in the form of reduced hourly pay, increased workload, and schedule manipulation. Once, as she was getting ready to head home for her birthday, her boss supposedly threatened to terminate her employment if she left early, saying, “No one cares about your birthday, Kylie is having a dinner.”
In late 2024, two additional supervisors, known only as Patsy and Elsy, assumed expanded managerial responsibilities. Both are mentioned in Vasquez’s lawsuit as well. Under their supervision, the situation did not improve, according to the complaint. Soto says she was denied bereavement time after her brother’s untimely death and ordered to come straight to work without even mourning.
According to the complaint, during this period, she was reportedly the target of ridicule, as employees whispered that she was making things up and littering the place so she could clean it herself. Furthermore, Soto reports being harassed for her requests to get time off for attending her brother’s funeral Mass.
Finally, by April 2025, the plaintiff had already tried to resolve the issue internally and found no other way than to go to court. Soto left a detailed account of the mistreatment she had been suffering and placed the complaint letter on Jenner’s massage table, hoping that she would notice it. Apparently, she did not react to it.
Shaker commended Soto’s brave step, stating, “My client alleges multiple employment and labor law violations by Kylie Jenner and her affiliated companies, and I commend her for the courage to come forward and seek accountability, recognizing that taking the first step is often the most difficult.”
The previous lawsuit filed by Hernandez Vasquez, a Salvadorian Catholic, concerns her employment since September 10, 2024, beginning at Jenner’s Beverly Hills residence and later moving to Hidden Hills. According to Vasquez, she faced hostility ever since day one of her job because of her race, national origin, and religion. She claims she was insulted constantly, assigned the most humiliating tasks, excluded from the group, snapped at, screamed at, and even once hangers were thrown at her.
This mistreatment, in her words, caused emotional turmoil and resulted in the development of anxiety and PTSD-like symptoms. After taking a leave of absence in July 2025 due to health reasons, Vasquez resigned. Now, she demands punitive damages, back pay for unpaid wages, compensation for missed meals and breaks, expenses incurred while performing her job, and sick leave pay.
Anonymous sources told TMZ that Vasquez was a junior staff member whose behavior caused some concerns for management. At the same time, Jenner has not made any comments concerning the allegations.
