Former WNBA player Kysre Gondrezick claims she plans to take to court all news organizations that alleged she signed up for the adult subscription site OnlyFans. The guard assures that the media got it wrong, although Gondrezick has created a profile on another similar platform.

The former Indiana Fever and Chicago Sky basketball player shared a teaser with a link emoji and an attractive image. As a result, many media outlets, like Daily Loud, rushed to report on her joining the popular platform. However, Gondrezick is actually working on Fanvue, which directly competes with OnlyFans.

According to her statement on X, public speculations are no substitute for responsible reporting of claims that haven’t been verified.

“Speculation and apprehension shouldn’t generate false online publishing. Crazy how at the expense of being right, one rather be first. Anyone who has publicized and run with headlines that are NOT true in regard to me joining another platform will be hearing from my legal team,” she stated.

As expected, most of the internet was not pleased with her threat, as many users found her previous posts open to interpretation, given how they were presented.

For instance, one user asked why she was surprised by everyone saying “drop the link” when she understood that they meant the link to the OnlyFans site, while she played around with it by saying that the link had already dropped.

Additionally, other users questioned the strength of a potential lawsuit due to her confusing posts and expressed their opinions about her behavior and financial situation.

Nevertheless, the experts argue that drawing lines between reporting and reasonable interpretation could be difficult in court.
