Detectives from the Gastonia Police Department are asking the public for help in locating a missing 30-year-old Gastonia, NC woman. Laporscha Chantal Baldwin last spoke with family members at approximately 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 10, 2021.
Her vehicle was located abandoned southbound on I-85 between Sam Wilson Road and Belmont.
Police are searching for 35-year-old, Charles Combs, her white criminal ex-boyfriend who was convicted of second-degree murder back in 2007, according to Channel 9.
Gastonia Police Department revealed that Combs was one of the last people she spoke to before her disappearance after obtaining Baldwin phone. They also revealed they haven’t been able to get in contact with Combs.
