Leanna Hunter wants Shannon Sharpe to accurately describe her husband’s position.

The wife of Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver and cornerback Travis Hunter went after the Hall of Fame tight end on Instagram after his team lost to the Houston Texans on Sunday at Wembley Stadium in London. She wants Sharpe to make sure he refers to her husband as a “TWO WAY” player when he talks about her husband.

Hunter shared a photo of her husband at Wembley Stadium with her Instagram Story and tagged Sharpe directly.

“Anyways… @shannonsharpe84 When you speak about my husband make sure your put ‘TWO WAY’ player in front,” she wrote.

Travis Hunter made sure there was a lot to cheer about, despite the loss.

In the fourth quarter, Hunter caught a touchdown pass from seven yards out, putting the Jaguars within three points. Then he intercepted a pass from Houston quarterback C.J. Stroud in the end zone, setting up a 60-Yard field goal by Cam Little that tied the game at 31. Just under two minutes left in the game.

The Texans got a 34-31 victory over the Jaguars when Houston’s Ka’imi Fairbairn hit a 49-yard field goal as time expired.

With his interception, Travis Hunter became just the fifth player since the Super Bowl era to score a touchdown and intercept a pass in the same game. He scored his first NFL touchdown at Wembley against the Los Angeles Rams last year.

Leanna Hunter shared a picture of herself saying, “I’ve lost my voice,” which meant she cheered loudly for her husband.

The Jaguars, who have the best record in the AFC South division, have a bye week next week.

This message went to one of the biggest critics of Hunter as a two-way player. Leanna Hunter follows criticism of Travis Hunter being able to play on offense and defense at once, like Shannon Sharpe, who gets the nickname “Unc” from fans of his podcast.

Before the 2025 NFL draft, Sharpe said on his “Nightcap” podcast that Hunter couldn’t handle all the snaps on both offense and defense in the NFL. Earlier in Hunter’s rookie season, Sharpe said that he’d like to see Travis become an effective player on one side of the ball.

It’s not the first time Sharpe has talked about the couple. On the same podcast, Sharpe criticized Leanna Hunter for how she reacted to criticism of her husband, who won the Heisman Trophy at Colorado University in December 2024.

The Jaguars traded up with Cleveland to pick Hunter with the second overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, hoping he could play receiver and cornerback at once. Injuries prevented Travis Hunter from appearing in more than seven games in his rookie year. This season, the effect of playing on both sides of the ball became a subject of conversation in the NFL. In the offseason, Jaguars coach Liam Coen said that Hunter will play both ways this season.
