Lucki, the Chicago rapper, was spotted with a neck injury outside ComplexCon on Saturday, based on unverified claims that he was stabbed in a fight between his team and Playboi Carti’s team.

An approximately 14-second video shows Lucki, wearing a camouflage jacket, being escorted by security to a black luxury car as onlookers crowd around him. There is blood visible on his neck. The video went viral on X and TikTok on Saturday night.

It was not confirmed by police, health officials, or festival organizers as of Saturday night what the nature or severity of his injuries was. Hip hop news accounts on X attributed the incident to a fight between the two teams. RapTV said that “Playboi Carti & LUCKI’s teams allegedly got into an altercation at ComplexCon.”

Kurrco said that Lucki was injured after an altercation with Carti’s entourage. Other sources, including FearBuck and STRAPPED!, claimed that he was reportedly stabbed, with some posting a neck injury.

No police or hospital sources supported the posts, and the claims could not be verified. It was unclear where the fight happened, what sparked the altercation, or whether Carti was there.

As of Saturday night, no statement came from Lucki, Carti, their representatives, or ComplexCon organizers.

The two rappers have had a history of clashes. In September 2024, Carti appeared to take umbrage at Lucki flaunting a chain, saying “crosses up” after Carti released the single “All Red,” Rap Madness reported.

Carti then posted old direct messages in which Lucki praised him, and Lucki retorted with screenshots of Carti praising him. “Like I said from the jump, I don’t dislike you,” Lucki wrote in an Instagram story at the time, according to Revolt. Lucki was also in a public feud with Destroy Lonely, who is signed to Carti’s Opium label.

The video raised concerns online about safety at ComplexCon. “ComplexCon has been getting way too chaotic; hope LUCKI is okay,” one X user commented in reaction to FearBuck’s post.

Others criticized how the situation was managed on-site, and some called for revenge. Many expressed general concerns about violence at music and pop culture events.

ComplexCon’s website says that it has a “strict zero tolerance policy” on weapons. Event organizers say that they coordinate their safety plans with the venue, corporate security, and law enforcement, and that both uniformed and undercover security officers are on-site.

The incident took place on the opening day of ComplexCon’s 10th anniversary edition, held Saturday and Sunday at the Los Angeles Convention Center, with concerts at nearby Crypto.com Arena. It is the festival’s first time in Los Angeles, after years in Long Beach and recent editions in Las Vegas.

Carti is the event’s artistic director, alongside Japanese designer Hiroshi Fujiwara and his Fragment Design brand. Complex has called the weekend a “full Opium takeover,” a reference to Carti’s label.

Ken Carson, signed to Opium, is headlining Saturday’s concert alongside HXG, ApolloRed1, and DJ Moon. Carti is set to headline the festival’s closing set on Sunday at Crypto.com Arena, with Destroy Lonely and F1lthy also on the bill, according to the festival’s official lineup. Doors open at 6 p.m. both nights.

Opium merch was selling out in droves on the show floor. Exclusive products available at the event include Playboi Carti and Mitchell & Ness NBA throwbacks, retro Interscope merchandise, new merchandise, I.AM.GIA apparel, and exclusive Playboi Carti and Giuseppe Zanotti sneakers.
