British pop star Mabel releases her newest single, Stupid Dumb,” which features the multi-platinum global star, Ty Dolla $ign. Via Capitol Records, the song brings sultry R&B tones with infectious rhythms and showcases the undeniable attraction between performers.

The Grammy-nominated hitmaker Tommy Brown produced the song, and its hypnotic beats, along with heartfelt confessions, create a mesmerizing vibe that captures the intensity of passion and the riskiness of love.

Hailing from the pulsating Los Angeles, “Stupid Dumb” found Mabel crooning over an uncontrollable feeling when one is fully head-over-heels, while Ty Dolla $ign added his signature smoothness, making things deeper in the track.

According to Mabel, “Stupid Dumb is about when you’re literally crazy about someone. I just wanted to capture that euphoric feeling you get when that special someone is all you can think about. Working with Ty Dolla Sign on this record has been so special. I’ve been a huge fan of his for a long time, and our recording session was definitely one of my favourites ever!”

Along with the release, Mabel shares a behind-the-scenes visual for her devoted fans to peek into the creative energy that put “Stupid Dumb” together.

The track follows Mabel’s recent return to her R&B roots, which was driven forward by the release of previous cuts such as “Vitamins,” and her inspiring collaborations on “Look At My Body Pt.II” with Shygirl and “Female Intuition.” 2024 is proving a thrill of rediscovery for this BRIT Award-winning talent, Stupid Dumb being the continuation of this exciting new phase in her career.

Mabel has caused quite a stir in the fashion world this year, performing the likes of ETAM’s Live Show 2024 in Paris, not to mention British Vogue x Rabanne. This summer has been full of festival appearances, including Notting Hill Carnival, where she performed single \\”Chat,” and BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Primavera Sound, and Open’er Festival. With “Stupid Dumb,” Mabel stamps herself even further as one of the UK’s brightest stars with, hopefully, plenty more innovative and exciting music to come from her.
