Machine Gun Kelly and Mod Sun Directorial Debut GOOD MOURNING from Open Road Films and Cedar Park Studios

Open Road Films announced today the US release of their upcoming stoner comedy GOOD MOURNING, starring Colson Baker (aka Machine Gun Kelly who acts/writes/directs under his real name), Mod Sun, Becky G, Dove Cameron and Whitney Cummings. It co-stars GaTa, Zach Villa, Jenna Boyd and Boo Johnson, with special appearances by Megan Fox and Pete Davidson.

The film is produced by Cedar Park Studios. The film is written and directed by Baker and Mod Sun.

GOOD MOURNING is set for a US theatrical and TVOD release on May 20, 2022.

The announcement was made by Open Road’s Tom Ortenberg and Cedar Park’s Chris Long.

GOOD MOURNING follows movie star London Ransom (Colson Baker). When he wakes up to an implied break up text from the love of his life, his world is turned upside down. And the timing couldn’t be worse because the most important meeting of his career is scheduled for later that same day. Compounded by chaotic roommates, and wildly unpredictable twists and turns, London’s day keeps going downhill until ultimately, he is forced to choose between pursuing his one true love and landing a life-changing, starring role in a major motion picture.
