Madison Beer, the pop sensation, was subjected to online speculation and accusations of being a Zionist in discussions about her alleged stance on Israel and Palestine that circulated widely on social media.
The drama played out on the X platform (previously known as Twitter) yesterday when Beer took to the platform to clear the air.
Beer responded unequivocally to the circulating rumors, saying, “If you think I’d ever want an innocent person to be killed, you do not know me, and that is simply outrageous.”
The singer passionately expressed her commitment to peace, emphasizing that one can be Jewish while also advocating for the well-being of all people, including Palestinians.
“I want peace for all people, including Palestinian people, which is, of course, what I want. No innocent person deserves to die,” Beer affirmed.
Beer’s statement sought to dispel any misconceptions about her beliefs and underline the importance of advocating for peace in the region.
