Malia Obama Reportedly Working With Donald Glover’s Writing Team For Upcoming Amazon Series

Donald Glover has tapped former First Daughter Malia Obama as a writer on his upcoming Amazon series. The series is potentially titled ‘Hive,’ and is centered around a “Beyoncé-type character.”

Glover told Vanity Fair at last night’s ‘Atlanta’ premiere, “She’s just like, an amazingly talented person. She’s really focused, and she’s working really hard. I feel like she’s just somebody who’s gonna have really good things coming soon. Her writing style is great.”

Malia previously held internships on Lena Dunham’s “Girls” and at the Weinstein Company before landing a role as a production assistant on Halle Berry’s CBS sci-fi drama series “Extant.”
