Last night, Marvel Studios debuted the final, thrilling trailer for “The Marvels” during ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” game, which was simulcast on ABC, ESPN2, and ESPN Deportes.
The new trailer, which includes a look back at The Avengers and the war against Thanos, raises the stakes for Captain Marvel and her team as they face a formidable foe.
Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and exacted revenge on the Supreme Intelligence in Marvel Studios’ “The Marvels.”
However, unintended consequences force Carol to bear the burden of a destabilized universe. When her responsibilities take her to an anomalous wormhole connected to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with those of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. As “The Marvels,” this unlikely trio must band together and learn to work together to save the universe.
Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Seo-Jun Park, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, and Samuel L. Jackson star in the film. Nia DaCosta is the director, and Kevin Feige is the producer. Executive producers are Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Mary Livanos, and Matthew Jenkins. Nia DaCosta, Megan McDonnell, and Elissa Karasik wrote the script.
The Marvel Studios film “The Marvels” will be released in theaters in the United States on November 10th.
