The lockdown on ChristChurch has been lifted.
New Zealand police have confirmed four people have been arrested for the shooting, three men and one woman.
Police can now confirm the lock down of schools throughout Christchurch has been lifted. We would like to reassure members of the public that there is a large Police presence in the city and the safety of the community is our priority.

The country’s police commissioner, Mike Bush, said that a number of explosive devices were found in vehicles stopped by police.
The last mass shooting in New Zealand was in 1990, when a man killed 13 people, including two 6-year-olds, after a dispute with his neighbor in the seaside town of Aramoana.
49 people have been reportedly dead as of now. The gunman Facebook lived the whole shooting at the Mosque.
