On Wednesday night, the Los Angeles Football Club defeated the Seattle Sounders 1-0 at BMO Stadium.
Mateusz Bogusz etched his name in the LAFC record books by scoring the club’s second fastest goal, 54 seconds after the game began. His goal was all the scoring LAFC needed to secure the three points.

LAFC now leads the Western Conference with a 9-3-5 record (32 points), three points ahead of second-place St. Louis and four points ahead of Seattle.
John McCarthy recorded his sixth clean sheet of the season. He has only allowed more than one goal at home in MLS play once this season, in the season opener on March 4th.
LAFC has seven shutouts in 17 MLS matches and has allowed 16 goals, the league’s third-lowest total.
