Megan Thee Stallion has filed a request for a restraining order against rapper Tory Lanez, alleging ongoing harassment and intimidation despite his imprisonment. Lanez is currently serving a 10-year sentence in California after being convicted of shooting Megan in the foot during a 2020 incident in Los Angeles.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Megan claims Lanez has orchestrated continued abuse from behind bars, working through third parties, including bloggers. She specifically names a blogger whom she is currently suing, alleging they are part of a coordinated campaign to discredit and harass her. Megan claims prison phone logs reveal conversations between Lanez, his father, and the blogger, discussing payments for online attacks targeting her.
In her filing, Megan describes the harassment as “psychological warfare” that has left her emotionally devastated. She alleges the campaign has caused her deep depression and isolation, leading her to question if she would have been better off if Lanez had killed her during the shooting. The court documents reportedly quote Megan as saying, “I wish he would have shot and killed me if I knew I would go through this torture.”
Lanez has been appealing his conviction, maintaining his innocence in the 2020 shooting. Megan argues that his ongoing harassment is part of a broader effort to undermine her credibility and secure his release.
Through the restraining order, Megan is requesting the court to prohibit Lanez and his associates from contacting, intimidating, or harassing her in any form. She is also seeking to prevent further use of social media or public campaigns to attack her character.
Lanez’s legal team has not yet responded to the new allegations.
