Mikayla Jones: 18-Year-Old Woman Found Dead After Two Men Allegedly Wrapped Her Body In A Comforter And Discarded Her On The Highway

A teen reported missing from Farmington, Mo., was found dead on May 5th, 2021.

The woman that was found dead was 18-year-old, Mikayla Jones. Her body was found laying on the highway.

Washington County Sheriff Zach Jacobsen revealed Jones died of a suspected accidental drug overdose, according to autopsy report.

Andrew Pierce (33) and Ethan Civey (27) have been arrested and charged with tampering with physical evidence, abandonment of a corpse, and hindering prosecution.

The two individuals allegedly wrapped Mikayla’s body in a comforter, placed her in the trunk of their car, and discard her body. It has been alleged that the two individuals attempted to destroy and discard Mikayla’s cell phone and any evidence of her presence in their home.

They both allegedly lied multiple times to authorities, and even to Mikayla Jones’ parents when asked about her whereabouts.

Sheriff Jacobsen said he believes Jones’ death was avoidable if they would have just called 911.
