Minnesota Vikings’ Justin Jefferson Ordered to Pay Child Support After Paternity Test

Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson is facing fatherhood after a family court judge ruled he is the biological father of a baby girl.

According to the Daily Mail, Judge Aldo J. Russo issued an order on June 26th stating that Jefferson and his ex-girlfriend, Andrea Galea, will share joint legal custody of their daughter, Stella. The order also establishes an “interim child support obligation” between the two.

Galea previously accused Jefferson of pressuring her to terminate her pregnancy in February 2023. She gave birth to Stella in December of that year. Both parties reportedly requested paternity testing in January, with Galea also seeking financial support and healthcare coverage from Jefferson.

This news comes on the heels of Jefferson’s lucrative contract extension with the Vikings. The four-year, $140 million deal includes a guaranteed $100 million, making child support payments a less significant financial burden for the star athlete.
