Over 400 people have been charged for crimes they allegedly committed during the January 6, 2021, storming of the US Capitol, according to The Washington Post. The FBI says it is continuing to search for more suspects. Some Republican lawmakers are mischaracterizing the events of January 6, with one lawmaker describing it as a “normal tourist visit,” according to PolitiFact and The Washington Post.
