New Trailer and Theme Song Artists Revealed for “Tohai – Ura Rate Mahjong Tohai Roku”

The highly anticipated fourth trailer for “Tohai – Ura Rate Mahjong Tohai Roku” has been released ahead of its second season premiere on January 11, 2025. The production team also announced an exciting collaboration for the ending theme, featuring cosplay influencer Enako and renowned composer Kayoko Kusano.

Enako, winner of the 2023 Comic Division Top Cover Award and social media powerhouse with 2.4 million X followers, joins forces with Kusano, the creative mind behind hit songs like LiSA’s “Gurenge.” Their duet, “Tumbling Dice,” will serve as the season’s ending theme.

“Recording with Kusano-san was a dream come true,” Enako shared. “Her direction and encouragement made the experience incredibly enjoyable.”

Kusano explained that the song reflects the journey of character Amina, stating, “The lyrics capture her spirit as she faces life-threatening situations and overcomes impossible odds with newfound friends.”

The series, directed by Jun Hatori with animation by EAST FISH STUDIO, continues to follow Kei, a high school student known as ‘K of the ICE’ in underground mahjong circles. The story delves into the dark world of high-stakes mahjong, where players gamble with money, relationships, and even organs.

The production team includes music by Yusuke Shirato and Yuki Kishida, series composition by Mariko Kunisawa, character design by Sayaka Anesaki, and sound direction by Ryosuke Naya. Masayoshi Oishi performs the opening theme.
