Blessing Okagbare has been provisionally suspended by the Athletics integrity unit after an out-of- competition test came back positive for Human Growth Hormone, a prohibited substance.

Nigeria’s track Queen will no longer compete at 2020 Tokyo Olympics where she was scheduled to run in the women’s 100m semifinals today.

Okagbare won Heat 6 in the Women’s 100M with a time of 11.05 as she qualifies in style. She would have joined her compatriot, Grace Nwokocha (11.00) in the semi finals.
