Nikita Dragun Implies Black Women Don’t Set Trends

The most disrespected person in America is the black woman. The most unprotected person in America is the black woman. The most neglected person in America is the black woman.” -Malcolm X

Nikita Dragun really came on Beyoncé’s internet to discredit the influence black women have in culture.

Dragun shared an Instagram DM exchange she had with a woman. The woman said, “Girl stop black women gave trans women and gay people culture quit playing with our name.” Dragun replies by saying, “No. Black trans women and black gay people have the culture.” Dragun has to realize a black transgender and black gay people came out of a black women’s body, no matter what you identify as a person.

This country has been exploiting and discrediting black women since its existence. Black women influence every culture like it or not. Black trans women and black gay people are influential as well but just to dismiss black women influences like it’s nothing, is very disgusting.
