Downtown Disney has begun their reopening process this month. The world greatest resort has new mural in the Downtown Disney District. The beautiful mural pays tribute to the late great Chadwick Boseman. The mural is a great representation on the impact he made to society.
The mural depicts both Chadwick Boseman and a young child in a hospital gown with their arms crossed over their chests. It’s a powerful reminder of the “Wakanda Forever” slogan of Black Panther. The mural is a fantastic tribute to both the actor and his iconic superhero role.
Guests visiting the district can find it near ESPN Zone. It’s at the site of the former Disneyland castle photo op. The mural is a beautiful reminder of hope and inspiration.
Actor Chadwick Boseman, star of Marvel Studios’ groundbreaking film Black Panther, recently passed away at the age of 43.
Boseman—who was also known to moviegoers for his acclaimed performances as Jackie Robinson in 42 (2013), as James Brown in Get On Up (2014), and as Thurgood Marshall in Marshall (2017)—first appeared on screen in what would become his most iconic role in Marvel Studios’ Captain America: Civil War. The highly anticipated Black Panther was released in 2018 and the film—and the nation of Wakanda in which the movie is set—quickly became a global cultural phenomenon, inspiring millions of fans around the globe.
