North West, daughter of Kim Kardashian West and Kanye West, is set to make her debut at the Hollywood Bowl alongside a star-studded cast for “Disney’s The Lion King 30th Anniversary – A Live-to-Film Concert Event” on May 24 and May 25. This concert extravaganza will celebrate the iconic journey of “The Lion King” from its animated origins to the recent live-action adaptation.
Joining North West on stage will be renowned Broadway star Heather Headley, Grammy Award winner Lebo M., and a lineup of “Lion King” franchise originals, including Billy Eichner, Bradley Gibson, Ernie Sabella, Jason Weaver, Jeremy Irons, Nathan Lane, and special guest Jennifer Hudson.
Under the baton of conductor Sarah Hicks, a full orchestra will bring to life Hans Zimmer’s Oscar-winning musical score, while the original cast members will perform beloved songs like “Can You Feel The Love Tonight,” “Circle Of Life,” “Be Prepared,” and “Hakuna Matata.”
Fans can expect immersive live performances featuring award-winning costumes, set design, and innovative puppetry that have captivated audiences worldwide. This event promises to be a nostalgic journey through the Pride Lands, showcasing the evolution of “The Lion King” over the past 30 years.
Produced by Disney Concerts, Fulwell 73 Productions, AMP Worldwide, and Live Nation-Hewitt Silva, the concert will be captured for a Disney+ Original special titled “The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl,” allowing audiences to experience the magic at a later date.
North West’s debut at the Hollywood Bowl adds another layer of excitement to this already highly anticipated event, marking a milestone in her budding entertainment career. With the upcoming release of “Mufasa: The Lion King” directed by Barry Jenkins, set to hit theaters in December 2024, the legacy of “The Lion King” continues to reign supreme in the hearts of fans worldwide.
