A slate of up-and-coming talents will be presented on the Grammy stage this year.
Nominees, including award nominees Addison Rae, Alex Warren, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, SOMBR, and The Marías, will showcase in a special Best New Artist segment at the 2026 Grammy Awards.
Trevor Noah will host Music’s Biggest Night live on Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles: 8 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 1, 2026 (all telecasts): ET and 5 p.m. PT on CBS Television Network.
The show will also air live and on demand on Paramount+.In advance of the telecast, the Grammy Awards Premiere Ceremony will be done live from the Peacock Theater at 12:30 p.m. PT and streaming on live.Grammy.com.
Sabrina Carpenter is also confirmed to be available. Other artists will also be announced in the next few days. Fulwell Entertainment will produce the 2026 Grammy Awards for the Recording Academy.
It will include executive producers Ben Winston, Raj Kapoor, Jesse Collins, and Noah.
Addison Rae is a first-time Grammy nominee this year in the Best New Artist category with the success of her debut album, “Addison.”
The performance of Alex Warren’s record-breaking single “Ordinary” and best new artist album “You’ll Be Alright, Kid” made him worthy of his first Grammy nomination and landed him with it.
KATSEYE, a first-time Grammy nominee, is up for two awards: Best New Artist and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, “Gabriela.”
Grammy winner Leon Thomas leads the Best New Artist group this year with six nominations: Album of the Year for “MUTT,” Best New Artist, Best R&B Performance for “MUTT (Live From NPR’s Tiny Desk),” Best Traditional R&B Performance, “VIBES DON’T LIE,” Best R&B Song, “YES IT IS,” Best R&B Album, “MUTT.”
A new nominee, Lola Young, has two nods: Best New Artist and Best Pop Solo Performance (“Messy”).
Olivia Dean is a first-time nominee as well, having secured a Best New Artist nomination for her album “The Art of Loving” and multiple chart-topping singles, including “Man I Need.”
SOMBR, another first-time contender, is up with Best New Artist after his debut album, “I Barely Know Her,” hit big.
Ending the category, The Marías are part of this year’s Best New Artist nominees following the success of their chart-topping single “Back To Me.”
The special performance segment will focus on the next generation of Grammy contenders for each of the evening’s most heavily watched honors.
