Olivia Rodrigo Clowns on Jake Paul at SNL: “I Wanted to Make Music. He Wanted to Beat Up Old Guys on Netflix.”

Olivia Rodrigo kicked off her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live by casually reminiscing about her early days of Hollywood, throwing in an unexpected jab towards her ex-castmate, Jake Paul.

Rodrigo talked about the Disney Channel series she acted in when she was only 13, called Bizaardvark, which also starred Jake Paul.

“We’d always talk about our futures, me and Jake,” Rodrigo said during the monologue. She described telling him she wanted to create music exploring the complexities of girls her age, while Paul had loftier ambitions, namely, fighting elderly men on Netflix.

“And we both did it,” she deadpanned. “Hurray!”
