Pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo is putting her platform to powerful use. Following the end of her highly successful GUTS World Tour, Rodrigo announced that $2 million of the tour’s net proceeds will go to charity to benefit women’s health organizations around the world.
The donation will be made via Fund 4 Good, her own charitable organization. Rodrigo, in a TikTok video before the tour, shared her initiative to support reproductive rights and women’s empowerment all over the world.
“Fund 4 Good works to support all women, girls, and people seeking reproductive health freedom,” Rodrigo stated. “The fund will directly support community-based nonprofits that champion things like girls’ education, support reproductive rights, and prevent gender-based violence.” A portion of proceeds from every GUTS World Tour ticket sold contributed to this effort.
The funds will benefit a wide range of organizations working to address critical issues affecting women and girls across the globe. Among the recipients are:
- National Network of Abortion Funds (United States)
- Women’s Shelters Canada
- Women Against Violence Europe
- The Pratthanadee Foundation (Thailand)
- Korea Foundation for Women
- Harmony House Limited (Hong Kong)
- NPO Women’s Saya-Saya (Japan)
- Aidha (Singapore)
- Jhpiego (the Philippines)
- Wesnet (Australia)
These organizations tackle issues such as reproductive rights, gender-based violence, and women’s education, offering essential resources and support to vulnerable communities.
Rodrigo’s GUTS World Tour, which has firmly established her as one of today’s most impactful voices in pop music, has been celebrated not only for its electric live performances but also for its dedication to creating real change. Fund 4 Good will keep the awareness and actual support for women’s rights and health loud and proud through Rodrigo.
