A fan of singer Olivia Rodrigo claims her aunt’s life was saved because of the singer’s recent concert in the Philippines. The concert was in aid of a nonprofit organization that offered free cancer screenings.
In her viral post, the fan said that tickets to the singer’s concert were offered at a single price. The proceeds from the concert went to a non-profit organization called Jhpiego.
The fan said her aunt learned about the non-profit organization through the concert. Her aunt was able to get a free cancer screening from the organization.
“My aunt was able to get a free cervical cancer screening through the non-profit, and they caught it soon enough for her life to be saved,” the fan said.
The fan said the concert’s impact was not limited to her aunt. Two days after the concert, there was an HPV vaccination drive at her niece’s elementary school.
“Two days after the concert, they had an HPV vaccination drive at my niece’s elementary school as well,” the post said.
