Netflix will release ‘BERLIN’ on December 29th. The spinoff for ‘La Casa de Papel’ follows one of the most extraordinary heists of the iconic character played by Pedro Alonso, who returns to the role of the hedonistic and clever Berlin.
Alongside him, his new gang: Michelle Jenner (‘Isabel’) plays Keila, an eminence in electronic engineering; Tristán Ulloa (‘Fariña’) goes into the skin of Damián, a philanthropic professor and Berlin’s confidant; Begoña Vargas (‘Welcome to Eden’) plays Cameron, a kamikaze who always lives on the edge; Julio Peña Fernández (‘Through My Window’) brings to life Roi, Berlin’s faithful squire; and Joel Sánchez plays Bruce, the relentless man of action in the gang. Itziar Ituño (‘La Casa de Papel’) and Najwa Nimri (‘La Casa de Papel’) come back to their roles as policewomen Raquel Murillo and Alicia Sierra respectively.
Samantha Siqueiros (‘Lady of Steel’), Julien Paschal (‘One Year, One Night’), Masi Rodríguez and Rachel Lascar (‘Through my window’) complete the cast for ‘BERLIN’.
The eight episodes of the series, created by Álex Pina (‘La Casa de Papel’, ‘Sky Rojo’) and Esther Martínez Lobato (‘La Casa de Papel’, ‘Sky Rojo’), are written by Álex Pina, Esther Martínez Lobato, David Barrocal, David Oliva and Lorena G. Maldonado. Will be directed by Albert Pintó (‘Sky Rojo’, ‘Malasaña 32’), David Barrocal (‘Sky Rojo’) and Geoffrey Cowper (‘Day Release’).
Netflix has acquired Richard Linklater’s “Hit Man,” starring Glen Powell, for $20 million, making the purchase the biggest deal of Toronto International Film Festival.
The film “Hit Man,” co-written by Linklater and Powell, features the “Top Gun: Maverick” actor as a psychology professor in New Orleans. He also works undercover as a hit man for the police, participating in sting operations to apprehend potential murderers. This comedic and existential take on the hit-man genre was a notable success at TIFF, which ended on Sunday.
Netflix has not yet announced release plans for “Hit Man,” which was also screened at the Venice Film Festival. The movie, loosely inspired by a true story depicted in a Texas Monthly article written by Skip Hollandsworth in 2001, revolves around a wife, portrayed by Adria Arjona, who desires her husband’s demise.
The territories included in the deal are the US, UK, Australia, New Zealand, India, South Korea, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Vietnam, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, and Iceland. The film was shot in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The cast also includes Austin Amelio, Retta, and Molly Bernard. The executive producers are Stuart Ford, Zach Garrett, Miguel A. Palos Jr., John Sloss, Shivani Rawat, Julie Goldstein, Vicky Patel, Steve Barnett, Alan Powell, Scott Brown, Megan Creydt.
The producers of the film are Mike Blizzard, Richard Linklater, Glen Powell, Jason Bateman, and Michael Costigan.
The teaser trailer and some stills for Netflix’s new film ‘in Love and Deep Water,’ a suspenseful romantic comedy written by acclaimed creator Yuji Sakamoto, were released today. This film will be released on Netflix worldwide on November 16, 2023.
The suspenseful romantic comedy is set on the MSC Bellissima, a massive luxury cruise ship bound for the Aegean sea and written by Yuji Sakamoto (Best Screenplay Award at the 76th Cannes for Monster, Mother, Beautiful Bouquet, Tokyo Love Story), one of the leading Japanese writers for over 30 years. While at sea, the loyal butler Suguru and a mysterious woman named Chizuru cross paths as they try to solve a murder mystery that occurs on the ship.
Suguru will be played by Ryo Yoshizawa, and Chizuru will be played by Aoi Miyazaki.
The Japanese cast also includes Yoh Yoshida as the recently appointed captain Hatsumi, Rinko Kikuchi as the unfaithful film producer Aina, Kento Nagayama as Shintaro, a young actor who wants to appear in a film shown at the Cannes Film Festival, Yuki Izumisawa as former yakuza member Ryuki, Aju Makita as Shiori, the daughter of a yakuza boss, Hatsunori Hasegawa as Sohe Young stars Yunho as Kanato, the housekeeper’s son, and Rumika Ogai as Misaki and Michihiko’s daughter will also make appearances.
Netflix unveils the trailer for its highly anticipated spy thriller, Khufiya, directed by Vishal Bhardwaj released on October 5th. Starring Tabu, Ali Fazal, Wamiqa Gabbi, Ashish Vidyarthi and Azmeri Haque Badhon. Khufiya is based on true events and is based on a book Escape to Nowhere, written by the former Chief of the Counter Espionage Unit of R&AW, Amar Bhushan.

Eiichiro Oda, the creator and illustrator of ONE PIECE, confirmed the news today in this special video via Transponder Snail.
In the special video, Eiichiro Oda, ONE PIECE Creator, Illustrator and Executive Producer says, “To the Straw Hat Grand Fleet: What did you think of Season 1 of the live-action ONE PIECE?
