Paris Hilton’s Malibu beachfront home has been destroyed in the devastating Palisades Fire, which has become the most destructive in Los Angeles history.
In an emotional Instagram post, Hilton shared her heartbreak: “Sitting with my family, watching the news, and seeing our home in Malibu burn to the ground on live TV is something no one should ever have to experience.” She reflected on the memories created there, noting it was where her son, Phoenix, took his first steps. Despite the loss, Hilton expressed gratitude for her family’s safety and extended her prayers to others affected by the fires.
The Palisades Fire started on January 7th and has consumed over 15,000 acres, forcing the evacuation of at least 30,000 residents. Strong wind gusts of over 100 miles an hour have contributed to the fire, stifling efforts by firefighters. Hundreds of homes have been reduced to ashes, including other celebrities such as Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt, Leighton Meester, Adam Brody, and Anna Faris.
Hilton also mentioned that her 11:11 Media Impact team is coordinating with nonprofit organizations to support affected communities, emphasizing a commitment to making a meaningful difference. She expressed deep gratitude to the firefighters and first responders, calling them “true heroes” for their courage and dedication.
The Palisades Fire is one of several wildfires that have swept through Los Angeles County in recent days, claiming multiple lives and destroying over 1,000 structures. Emergency crews have been battling the blazes under the most hazardous conditions: hurricane-force winds and water shortages.
The cause of the Palisades Fire is still under investigation. Police urge residents to follow all evacuation orders as it may be a long day with continued fire fighting.
