Patrick Mahomes Becomes The Youngest Player to Win MVP

After, his first year as the starting quarterback of the Kansas City Chiefs. The 23-year-old superstar QB was announced as the NFL’s 2018 MVP Saturday night at NFL Honors, making Mahomes the youngest recipient of the award since Dan Marino in 1984. Patrick Mahomes led the Kansas City Chiefs to the number one seed in the AFC. Going 12-4 in the regular season and ended up losing the AFC championship game to Tom Brady and The New England Patriots. Mahomes became the third QB ever to throw for 50 or more touchdowns in a season. Patrick Mahomes led one of the top five offenses in NFL history this year.
