Boxer Felix Verdejo faces federal charges stemming from the death of 27-year-old Keishla Rodriguez Ortiz, who was pregnant when she died.
He is charged with kidnapping resulting in death, carjacking resulting in death and intentionally killing an unborn child.
Keishla body was found washed up in a lagoon in San Juan, the island’s capital, the authorities said.
