Rep. Ilhan Omar hit back strongly at the former President after he suggested she was to blame for the state of leadership in Minnesota when it comes to how the state deals with immigration issues.
Trump posted the message on Truth Social, saying, “To the Radical Left Democrats, let me make one thing very clear to you! Immediately sign an agreement to let our country, in particular, our Airports be FREE and SAFE again! We will immediately deploy Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agents to the Airports across the country.”
“I will move our brilliant and patriotic ICE Agents to the Airports where they will do Security like no one has ever seen before, including the immediate arrest of all Illegal Immigrants who have come into our Country, with heavy emphasis on those from Somalia,” he went on to say.
He went on to say that the Somali immigrants to the country have “totally destroyed the State of Minnesota,” citing the “corrupt Governor, Attorney General, and Congresswoman, Ilhan Omar.”
Omar is a Democrat from the 5th Congressional District of Minnesota. Omar posted the response to the former President on social media.
“This man can’t win one election in Minnesota, but apparently I won three offices simultaneously,” she said.
Trump has never won the state of Minnesota in any presidential election.
Omar is the first Somali American to be elected to the U.S. Congress. She is often the target of attacks from the former President when it comes to the way the country deals with immigration and refugees.
