Connecticut state Rep. Quentin Williams was killed in a car crash after he was struck by a wrong-way driver, hours after he was sworn in for his third term on Wednesday, officials say.
The driver that killed Quentin Williams has been identified as 27-year-old Kimede Mustafaj also died in the car crash.
Mustafaj was due in court in two weeks to face assault, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief charges from her arrest in August.
The cause of the crash, including whether alcohol or drugs were involved, was under investigation. No other people were involved.
