Rihanna Becomes First Female Artist With Eight Diamond Songs in U.S. History

Rihanna has just achieved yet another crazy milestone with her eighth diamond-certified song, “Love On the Brain.” The latest update from the RIAA confirms that Rihanna is the female artist with the most diamond-certified songs in the US, reinforcing her status as one of the most successful artists of all time.

“Love On the Brain,” which was featured on her 2016 album Anti, has joined the elite group of Rihanna songs that have surpassed 10 million units sold in the US, including streaming. Rihanna’s diamond-certified songs are “Love The Way You Lie,” “We Found Love,” “Diamonds,” “Umbrella,” “Work,” “Needed Me,” “Stay,” and “Love On the Brain.”

In addition to the diamond certification of “Love On the Brain,” some of the songs on Rihanna’s Anti album, as well as some of her other songs, have also been upgraded to the following certifications: “Needed Me” is 12x Platinum, “Work” is 11x Platinum, “Kiss It Better” and “Sex With Me” are 4x Platinum, “Desperado” is 3x Platinum, “Consideration” is 2x Platinum, “James Joint,” and “Woo” are Platinum.
