Why Love Island and Why Now?
Sam candidly shared his motivations for joining the show. “At this point in my life, I just want the opportunity to find a real connection with someone. I’ve been looking for that connection for quite some time but I’ve never really found it. I’m hoping I find that spark in the Villa.”

Known for his vibrant personality, Sam believes he has a lot to offer. “I will definitely bring lots of energy but can also have deep conversations, so I will bring both of those sides of my personality to the Villa.”

When asked what makes him a catch, Sam highlighted his character. “My personality and chat. I’d like to think I’ve got lots of depth and substance, which should hopefully help me out when trying to find a connection.”

Sam, who sports a tall frame and an array of tattoos, is keen to challenge preconceptions. “I’d say not to judge a book by its cover because how I look compared to what I do for work might not necessarily add up. You wouldn’t look at me as a tall guy covered in tattoos and think that I make girls’ hair look pretty for a living.”
Still Searching for the Right Match
Despite his charming demeanor, Sam remains single. “I’ve not found someone who’s on the same wavelength as me who can match my energy,” he admitted.

Friends and family describe Sam as determined. “If I want something, I always find a way of making it happen,” he said, reflecting his ambitious nature.
Looking for Manners, Communication, and a Smile
When it comes to what he seeks in a partner, Sam has clear priorities. “Manners are an important thing for me, but also someone with good communication. Looks wise, I like a girl with a good smile.”

If given the choice, Sam would love to share the Villa with some of his celebrity crushes. “Margot Robbie because she’s my dream woman, Megan Fox because she’s hot, and Yung Filly to make me laugh.”
