A video of an elderly white man spraying a homeless person with water in the cold in San Francisco is going viral on social media.
In the video, the white man told the homeless woman to move while hosing her down with water because she was sitting on the sidewalk.
The incident took place right in front of the Barbarossa Lounge, which made people on social media think it was one of the owners or employees who was spraying the homeless woman.

Barbarossa Lounge released a statement debunking these claims immediately.
The company said: “Barbarossa Lounge has been made aware of a video that has began to circulate on social media, which was filmed outside of our small business. Barbarossa is in no way associated with the inhumane actions portrayed in the video. Upon investigation it appears the actions are those of a neighboring business owner. We are extremely disappointed in this individual’s behavior and in no way support such actions. We have been informed that further formal and media investigation is under way. Barbarossa strives to support our local community and treat all passersby and patrons with equal respect and dignity.”
This led social media to look up the owners of Barbarossa Lounge neighbors, and it appears a few people on social media claimed the man who was spraying down the homeless woman was an art gallery owner named Collier Gwin.

Looks like we may have a new candidate for world’s worst human in San Francisco, following the lead of water vigilante Don Soker. Meet Collier Gwin, gallerist & socialite. His client list includes David Rockefeller, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ichiro Suzuki, Gregg Popovich & Joe Lacob https://t.co/UKUt2VwP4z

Looks like the assaulter's name is Collin Gwin and he owns an art gallery next door to this facility. Attacking homeless folks is unacceptable! https://t.co/LNifZV9ZZQ https://t.co/Cm0xM9HprT

Even though the guy in the video resembles Collier Gwin, as of right now, we can not confirm it was actually Collier Gwin in the video.
We reached out to his company for confirmation and comment. We will keep you updated on this situation.

I agree with Aqua, and will add, there is no need to be ageist ‘elderly man’ – How about
“footage shows a man assaulting a woman with a water hose”
Nice follow up point. He is a human before is age.
Good job for getting the first news article. But too many Red Flags. Saying Homeless person but giving the perpatrator grace in your words. Try stating that they are a person before circumstances.
Shaming people into using labels like “person before circumstances” because homeless is too offensive… lol.. Micromanaging language to this degree doesn’t make you progressive, just cringe.
Hey author!! “Employee” is a ridiculous word. Why didn’t you use “person of pay”, it’s less demeaning!
I have a feeling this has more to do with the desire to Hall Monitor than it does the people they claim to care about.
Thats not shaming. It was quite polite actually. And they are correct. A person sprayed a person. Well, a rich white man sprayed a poor black woman to be exact. Pretty sure my assumptions are spot on. Kind of like white people calling native americans “illegal aliens” on their ancestral lands.
Look at that… accused when he admitted to doing it …
