A 17-year-old girl named Maya Tremillo has been hospitalized after suffering a concussion, several cuts to her face, and sprained ankle after being ambushed by two other 17-year-old girls at Clifton City Park in Texas.
The two girls that jumped Maya have been identified as Savannah Walker and Ahliah Vestal. Maya was reportedly lured to the park after Ahliah wanted to borrow a pair of shoes from her. Shortly after Maya arrived she was beaten. The two girls apparently filmed parts of the beating on Snapchat here.
Walker and Vestal have been charged as adults for aggravated assault in retaliation, a first-degree felony that can lead up to five or more years in prison, according to Clifton Police Chief Chris Blanton.
