Selena Gomez Unveils Anticipated Single “Love On” Set to Drop on February 22nd

Selena Gomez has officially announced the title of her new single, “Love On,” which is set to be released on Thursday, February 22nd.

Gomez teased fans with a mysterious password challenge, resulting in a guessing game that revealed probable lyrics and increased anticipation.

Earlier this week, the singer shared a heart-shaped lock, enticing fans to figure out a passcode. As the proper code, “222,” was cracked, fans were treated to a preview of prospective lyrics: “Clock in, baby, get to work.” Night Shift, but with all the perks.” Speculation about the forthcoming release grew on social media, with one delighted fan exclaiming, “it’s giving song of the year, oh we back.”

Gomez fuelled the enthusiasm with new teases, this time including the heart-shaped lock. “This doesn’t have 2 be some sort of mathematical equation,” the teaser said, hinting at more unreleased lyrics. The singer’s careful buildup has successfully kept fans on edge, impatiently awaiting the release of “Love On.”

Gomez’s first musical release of 2024, “Love On,” follows her 2023 summer song, “Single Soon.” She explained her decision to release the previous single in August, saying, “Since I’m not quite done with SG3, I wanted to put out a fun little song I wrote a while back that’s perfect for the end of summer.” With the upcoming release of “Love On.”

The singer is expected to fascinate audiences once more, paving the way for what looks to be a fantastic year in her music career.
