Serena Williams was upset in the third round of the French Open by a 20-year-old American. Top-seeded Naomi Osaka also lost earlier in the day.
20-year-old American Sofia “Sonya” Kenin handles the occasion and an unfriendly crowd, beat Serena Williams 6-2, 7-5 to reach the fourth round of the French Open.
Serena’s quest for a 24th Slam moves on to Wimbledon, where she made the final last year.
