Seven women were arrested on Monday after being observed by undercover detectives of the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office engaging in sexual activities inside massage parlors in Miami-Dade County.
The arrests took place during various covert operations conducted in different locations.
According to NBC 6 South Florida, those arrested included Junrong He, aged 52; Youdi Zhuge, aged 58; Qingxiang Zhu, aged 57; Yuping Li, aged 60; Xun Ou, aged 36; Shumin Yu, aged 60; and Yuyun Chen, aged 61.
Each one of the seven women has been charged with practicing a health care profession without a license, as well as prostitution. Also, He, Zhu, Li, Chen, Yu, and Zhuge have been charged with practicing massage without a license. The officials said that none of the women possessed a massage license from Florida.
According to arrest affidavits, the detectives entered each parlor, paid for half an hour of massage, and were led to a private room where the woman engaged in sexual activities and asked for money ($50-$60) to offer sexual services.
