She Was Only 18, Broke, and In Dental School, Then She Found a $15,000 Loophole

Before becoming a millionaire, Skylar Mae was a poor 18-year-old girl who was attending dental school in search of a better way to earn money.

Now, aged 23, Skylar Mae recalls signing up for the Seeking Arrangements platform, which pairs so-called sugar babies with older benefactors, before entering the adult content world. Mae says that she made around $15,000 from the arrangement, and that she did it all without having intercourse with any of the men she was dealing with.

“I was broke, in dental school, and I just remember thinking that there must be an easier way to make money,” said Mae. “So this was before the platform, and I signed up for Seeking Arrangements (which pairs sugar babies and daddies) and went for it.”

According to Mae, she met five or six guys face-to-face using the platform, as well as several others whom she just talked to online.

“They obviously expected me to have sex with them, but I never let things go that far,” Mae revealed. “I would meet them for coffee or dinner, we would chat for an hour or tw,o and they would give me like $500 just for showing up. I would try to make things light, and then say, ‘yeah, I’m not going back with you,’ and that was that. No second date. I think that they somehow figured out that I was very young, and thankfully did not try to push too hard.”

One of Mae’s clients, she revealed, paid around $30,000 for her services, after accounting for dinners and dates.

Not all encounters were smooth. Mae mentions one time when she met a man at a Starbucks and left scared almost immediately.

“There was this one guy that was so incredibly creepy it became almost scary,” Mae shared. “I met him at a Starbucks of all places, and I could tell something was wrong right away. I cut the meeting short and got out of there fast.

“I wanted to leave while he could not see my license plate, since in America those numbers can be used to find out your address and much other private information. Despite that, he followed me to the car, got my plate number, and followed me all the way to my place. It was the horror story of the century.”

Mae says she filed a restraining order against the man, who later tried to contact her again, but it did not yield any results.

In addition, Mae claims that she was attracted to older clients, including a 64-year-old.

“The oldest man I met was 64 years old. Which is basically grandpa’s age,” Mae commented. “I remember being really weirded out by that. But in the end, he was incredibly selfish, and everything revolved around him, and I thought, ‘no wonder you’ve never gotten married.'”

“I actually made $15,000 from sugar daddies before I even joined the platform,m and that was all without physical relations with them,” Mae admitted. “In retrospect, it is kind of wild.”

Mae warns young women not to use such dating apps, saying they can bring dangerous people into their lives.

“A lot of the guys on those dating sites are single at this age for a good reason,” said Mae. “It’s very risky to date guys from there since you never know what you’re getting into. Dating guys organically seems safer since you can actually assess them and ask yourself, ‘Why is this man single at this age?’ That already tells you a lot.”

She adds that her preference for older guys has affected her personal life as well.

“I will never date a guy my age; they are too immature,” she said. “I am simply more attracted to older men who know what they want and take the lead.”

And that experience has influenced the boundaries she draws as an adult content creator as well.

“I knew exactly what I was doing even back then,” she said. “Everything was on my terms. No one was telling me what to do, and I was not giving anything more than I chose to. I was in control.”
