Social media reacts to the iconic Selena Quintanilla tribute at the Grammy Awards. Selena was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Grammys.
Tejano superstar was honored near the end of the award show with being apart of a slide alongside other honorees Marilyn Horne, Salt-N-Pepa, Talking Heads, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, and Lionel Hampton.
Selena fans are infuriated at the Grammys because they feel like they used her name to promote the event. The Grammys highlighted her for three seconds out of their three hour televised events. Which is pretty damn shameful. Selena deserves better than that. Many of her fans were expecting a beautiful tribute.
Grammys could have done a video of Selena greatest moments or even had some of the best musicians performing a couple of her songs on stage.

i’m honestly heated that @RecordingAcad used Selena Quintanilla #GRAMMYs tribute as a tactic to lure in the Hispanic community for more views.
It’s a slap in the face for us, especially since they’ve been promoting it for days now. we are justified in being upset… pic.twitter.com/ufQZAbaL8F
